Summary

Work with Fedora Design Team to create custom logo for FHP and implement it across front-end UI

Background

The Design Team has created a logo for the FHP site, pending final changes and improvements. See design#606 to track progress of the logo.

Once the Design Team gives it the final sign-off, we can take the SVG image and implement the official logo across the front-end UI wherever the logo exists. If I recall correctly, it is currently loaded in as a PNG from a remote server.

Details

  1. Add SVG to website assets
  2. Update all places where logo is embedded to use approved SVG
  3. Open PR!

Outcome

FHP is customized and unique for the Fedora community, the theme builds on other themes in Fedora (e.g. karma cookies and Appreciation Week cake), and the site is a good example of quality design work

Notification/alerts seem to have extremely small font size. I have attached snapshots of the same. I think the font size for all body elements must be in line. Putting it here so it doesn't go unnoticed while resolving the design issues of the site.

@terezahl completed the final FHP logo in design#606. The SVG is here. We should take these steps to close this ticket:

  1. Add the SVG into this Pagure repository with other existing assets
  2. Update all uses of the current logo image to use the SVG
  3. Send up a PR! :raised_hands:

This one is open to be worked on. It's not a huge priority but it would be nice to get this done in Phase 1 (i.e. by 8 June) as we lead up to re-deploying to production with containers.
