I suggest just dropping the previous text and then using the description as the entirety of the "slug."

basically, there is a description field for each post-series that we were using in two places, the top of the widget that shows on post-series linked posts, and on the series index page (the link in the original report)
The commit removes the word 'covering' from the widget text, so its easier to craft a description that drops in neatly in these two locations.
