Use #WeAreFedora hashtag for official social media hashtag
#WeAreFedora
In fedora-commops#110, we planned to use the #WeAreFedora hashtag as the official hashtag for Fedora Appreciation Week. This will also be the hashtag mentioned in the upcoming FAW article on the Fedora Community Blog.
I noticed a few social media buttons (Google+, Twitter, Facebook) that use a hashtag for sharing. It would be great to have those updated to use the #WeAreFedora hashtag.
I'm not sure if a hashtag is used anywhere else, but if it is, it would be good to update it across the board. :grinning:
All communication and branding for Fedora Appreciation Week is in sync :tada:
(Great work so far on the project, @algogator :100:)
@jflory7 since we plan to do it every year, don't you think is better #WeAreFedora18?
Metadata Update from @jonatoni: - Issue priority set to: this week (was: awaiting triage)
@jonatoni I prefer a consistent hashtag from year to year. It's possible to sort posts / tweets by timestamp or date posted later, so I usually avoid adding a date or year to a hashtag. It also lets you see all the posts together at once if you'd prefer to see them all together.
Fixed in PR#37
