We would like to have a VFAD (virtual Fedora Activity Day) on March 9th at approximately Fri Mar 9 15:00:00 UTC 2018 . The VFAD will last 2 hours. We will cover as many topics as possible in those two hours. Any topics we don't cover will carry forward to the next VFAD.
The VFAD will be hosted on Bluejeans at the following URL: https://bluejeans.com/dmabe. Bluejeans can work in pure HTML5 mode so shouldn't require you to install any plugins. If it asks you to install plugins try using 'ingcognito' or 'private' mode in your browser.
Proposed topics for the VFAD include:
[upstream technology]
[community direction]
[Atomic workstation]
[Q&A for users]
The vFAD is complete. Thanks to everyone who came
rpm-ostree rojig (special way of delivering ostree updates)
I feel like we've almost over talked about rpm-ostree jigdo/rojig as a group but, if @walters is good with it I'd be OK with it as a topic

I agree, not sure it needs to be a VFAD topic.

I thought the reason we wanted to bring it up was because there were questions related to the intersection of that and modularity.

I'd also like to hear about it so wouldn't mind that topic - ELI5 style, please. Might also uncover possible issues. Explaining the basics instead of getting caught up in details usually does.
Edit: formatting
Ok, if it is something we haven't discussed yet then I'd . Do you mind posting or linking to the question(s). I may be a bit out of this specific loop.
Ah...I'm not certain; like whether rpm-ostree would learn about modules? Or the other way around of building AH from a module (that's dead with new "addon modularity" right?)
I think we need to brainstorm a bit on other topics too and then choose among them.
What about oc cluster up usability/packaging? Personally it drives me nuts that it uses a hardcoded password by default. Should we add it to FAW by default? I notice it's now "just" 40MB.
oc cluster up
Or hacking on the docs and our general docs story.
Or a podman focus?
podman
Or maybe CI?
Not a bad idea. Worth discussing IMHO as it provides a way for developers to easily develop against Openshift on FAW. Same question for minishift.
@sanja has done a lot of work in that area. What do you think @sanja?
Brent has ping'd on issues related to podman so it may be a good time.
Something CI would be good. Problem here is it is a really broad topic . If we can pin it down to a few pain points or wanted changes then it could be a good discussion topic.

Any plans talking about container images? (delivery, automation, future plans, OSBS status and plans, testing) Sorry I did not attend the meeting.
Not for this VFAD since we already have a loaded agenda. Next one?
Can we add this to the Atomic calendar? https://apps.fedoraproject.org/calendar/atomic/ Hopefully this isn't a selfish request and there's other people who have it linked to their calendar app of choice! :)
