#339 Adding Fedora Atomic to AWS Marketplace
Closed: Invalid 2 years ago by davdunc. Opened 6 years ago by davdunc.

I have made arrangements with Mattdm to host Marketplace AMIs of F27 in the AWS Marketplace. These will be hosted by me as a member of the Fedora community. This allows us to get around certain legal issues that have heretofore prevented the images hosting.
Need Fedora Marketing to assist with writeup for the listing.
TODO F27 submission prior to release date (there is a security audit)

Account number for Marketplace deployment is 662243699625. This is legally separate from the FAS managed account.

Discussed in the atomic wg meeting today. having images in the marketplace in addition to the images we already put out will allow us to reach people who may not have found our images otherwise.

@davdunc - any action items for the working group ?

@dustymabe no current action items for the group. Once submissions are set up, we will review requirements for automating them

Targeting release for end of October to coincide with F27 availability.

Still waiting for final approval.

Final approval delivered. i am working on the initial images.

@davdunc Any further update on this?

Reviving this. I have time to complete this work now. There was some discussion about moving to the existing CoreOS Marketplace account. Should we continue with the standard Cloud Images here or include them in the the existing account?

For Atomic I wouldn't worry about any new work.

Should we continue with the standard Cloud Images here or include them in the the existing account?

Are you referring to the cloud base images? If so I'll defer to @mattdm.

Update - still working on this and have a proposal in limited circulation for comments.

We have a process for the cloud base images now, but closing this as atomic has been dropped as a supported release. Still need to get FCOS 34 into the Marketplace.
