Attaching the flight ticket + cab receipts.

Okay, trac is not allowing the uploads due to size. For now just directly mailing them to jzb.

Kushal, it appears that Paypal has shutdown payments for India from non-business accounts. Can you send me some options to consider. Is there an India specific payment gateway we could consider?

just a suggestion, Bitcoin if We are true geeks.

itamarjp, while I appreciate your suggestion, the last time I checked bitcoin suffered from three challenges:

1 - It is difficult to purchase at low fee with a credit card
2 - It is difficult for most people to convert it back to fiat currency or to use it
3 - It fails several US accounting tests making it almost impossible to use for these types of expenses.

The last time I reimbursed someone in India I had to use Western Union.

Surely Red Hat must have some way of doing this?

You can send it across to paypal@jaredsmith.net I will also send in a mail to Bex to reconfirm this.

@jberkus did you do this Western Union reimb. with your RH CC. I have been told that WU is blocked for usage.

RH has a process. It is paypal. Fedora is looking for other options. I have been talking to Kushal about it offline.

@kushal payment has been sent to the address you requested, paypal @jaredsmith.net

Someone with perms, please close this ticket.

At least from the U.S. the least expensive way to do it is Western Union direct to a bank account. That's ~$8 for the fee. For U.S. U.K. Australia, CurrencyFair is cheap but not a fast process. TransferWise is in the same category, but services a bunch of other countries.

closing since bex requested it.
