XChat was retired 6 months ago [1] leaving some unsatisfied dependencies behind. Therefore, please retire xchat-ruby, since original maintainer appears to be AWOL [2].

We discussed this request in IRC.

Release Engineering does not have an SOP for permission to retire the package of an unresponsive maintainer.

I have filed a ticket with FESCO to get their permission and to document our SOP for the future to avoid delays.

xchat-ruby has been retired by @zbyszek
