The review was approved but it hit the age limit. So you are telling me I have to go through the package review all over again??

You cannot approve your own package. That wouldn't be review anymore. A review must be performed by some else.

If you read the BZ you can see it was already reviewed and approved? Why is there a 60 day limit on moving forward here.

It took some time for the end package GitHub CLI to stabilize. I just want to move forward on getting things packaged so I can get the GitHub CLI included in Fedora.

If a package has ben removed from Fedora and later somebody decides to return it back, there is also a period after which the package must be reviewed again. I think it's based on an assumption that the packaging guidelines could have changed in the mean time.

If you are interested in more detailed and correct rationale, ask on Fedora devel mailing list where more knowlegible people or file a ticket to FESCo which sets the rules. Maybe it will be concluded that this not a desired rule and it will be changed.
