Really? He's listed https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts/user/view/dcantrell?_csrf_token=d323ae14bb4130fa5ae8456ee1aa5c6fa055d492 here as being in "Fedora Packager GIT Commit Group." Is that not what we're talking about?

Oh, he's a "user", not a "sponsor" there. I get it, sorryu for the reopen!

Actually, David Cantrell claims he is indeed authorized for sponsorship, so reopening. Sorry for the confusion on my part :/.
dcantrell has 'user' role, not 'sponsor', and nickblack is not a member. Closing to clear queue until corrected.
Alright, dcantrell now definitely has the 'sponsor' role: https://pagure.io/packager-sponsors/issue/420 https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts/user/view/dcantrell?_csrf_token=73ce05551bae1b8bdb9c1fe99ec2c540aa46fcce
So, reopening, and requesting a new repo for rpms/notcurses =].
When you said this 8 days ago, you then elaborated that :
He now has this role, so far as I can tell (supporting evidence was attached). Indeed, you voted for him. I apologize for my denseness, but can you explain what I'm missing?
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_package_collection_maintainers#Watch_for_Feedback then says:
"When the package is APPROVED by the reviewer, you must separately obtain member sponsorship in order to check in and build your package. Sponsorship is not automatic and may require that you further participate in other ways in order to demonstrate your understanding of the packaging guidelines. Key to becoming sponsored is to convince an existing sponsor-level member that you understand and follow the project's guidelines and processes.
See how to get sponsored into the packager group for more information on the process of becoming sponsored.
Your sponsor can add you to the packager group. You should receive an email confirmation of your sponsorship."
if what I've presented doesn't satisfy the criteria here, please explain, so that I can improve the Wiki with this information. Thanks @limb.
FAS account "nickblack" is now approved for group "Packagers". I believe this satisfies the requirements. PTAL, thanks. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts/user/view/nickblack
