Björn "besser82" Esser besser82@fedoraproject.org is definitely a packager and been around for a long time.

Agreed, but fedrepo disagrees, please contact pingou and mprahl.
@smani it's because besser82's email address in Bugzilla does not match his in FAS, so the tool has no way of determining if besser82 is a packager in FAS or not. I am adding a --force flag to the tool to override the Bugzilla validation, but besser82 should get his email address changed in Bugzilla.
--force
@mprahl
Hello folks,
my email address doesn't match, because there is an override for this in place. Kevin Fenzi set that up 1.5 years ago or so…
There is an issue open [1] with fedora-infrastructure about this…
Cheers Björn

@mprahl is dealing with that issue over here: https://pagure.io/fedrepo_req/pull-request/76

@mprahl Can you ping me when I can resubmit the new-repo request?
@smani sorry about the wait. Feel free to reopen this ticket or open a new one. @limb can just override the Bugzilla ticket validation on the tool until we get @besser82's email alias straightened out in FAS.
Reopened.
