#10 Can't keep root user locked
Closed 4 years ago by alciregi. Opened 4 years ago by alciregi.

The installation windows looks pretty different from the Workstation Live one, as well to the Netinst one.

Aside that, the main problem is that, as the default Fedora behaviour should be nowadays, I can choose to keep the root user locked (and in fact it is locked by default) and create a user: this should be sufficient to begin the installation (this is the behaviour of the netinst image).
On the Neuro image, I have to set the root password, otherwise I'm not allowed to begin the installation: "Please complete items marked with this icon before continuing to the next step".

Never mind.

It works.

If you create a user and you don't check "Make this user administrator", then you have to unlock root. Or you keep root locked and set the user as administrator.
I forgot to check "Make this user administrator".
Sorry.
