I packaged vascpy, a dependency also from BlueBrain, only to find out that AstroVascPy is not yet compatible with pandas >= 2. It seems to be related to the way they pickle as described in this issue. There's also a suggestion on how to make it work and preserve backwards compatibility. I haven't looked at the code yet. So, I'm not sure if I'll be able to provide a patch.

Both are packaged now. However, I'm waiting on upstream for clarification on astrovascpy console script: https://github.com/BlueBrain/AstroVascPy/issues/36
