For maintaining packages, I'd suggest we start here for some general high-level info on the process. We can then find you a software to package up:

I've sent you the invitation. We don't do a lot on GitHub. I think only the blog is hosted on GitHub pages at the moment, so its source lives there:

@ankursinha Can you please tell me how can I join this team of Neuro?

You're already here! There's no formal process, like most other Fedora teams/special interest groups. I'll open a new ticket for you so that we don't hijack this ticket here, and we can continue there.

Heya,

Have you had a chance to go through the bits here? If yes, we can get you started with a package perhaps to cut your teeth with?

Yep! I've had a read of it, tried playing around with it all in a VM also.

Great! Do you see a software in our queue that interests you? Perhaps a Python one, since they tend to be simpler than software written in other languages?

Here are a few candidates I could see:

Neat! I'd be keen to look into #376, looks like a good place to start.

Sounds good. I've assigned the ticket to you now.

These two docs would be your starting points for Python packages:

The Python guidelines even include an example spec at the end that we all tend to start with. We also have a copy here for you to download:

Please ping/email me whenever you need to!

@henryburgess : we don't have anyone from your time zone managing our twitter account. I'm at UTC and @major is IST (UTC+530). Any chance you could help so we can have some activity throughout the day? It's a few tweets from time to time and we have templates noted here:

https://pagure.io/neuro-sig/NeuroFedora/blob/master/f/Outreach/Template-tweets.rst

Do let me know, and I can e-mail you the credentials privately.

Heya: the URL to the ML is wrong in the initial comment (the template was outdated, I've corrected it now). The correct ML to subscribe to is neurofedora@lists.fedoraproject.org: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/neurofedora.lists.fedoraproject.org/

Hi @henryburgess, how are you doing? How is #376 coming along? Anything we can help with?

Hi @henryburgess , I'm going to close this ticket now. Please ping us on the mailing list or any of the other channels if needed.
