Upstream seems dead. Last commit was seven years ago. Also, there's no btmorph on PyPI and the Prerequisites in the README file state:

You will need Python (2.7), Numpy / Scipy and Matplotlib to run the code. IPython is highly recommended because it provides an interactive environment (like Matlab) for Python.

Moreover, it looks like the software is not using any build backend. The repo does not contain any setup.cfg, setup.py or pyproject.toml. I think it's a fair assumption to make that this software is no longer current.

Suggestion: Drop it from our backlog.
