#336 Use teams.fedoraproject.org (Taiga) kanban board for better planning
Closed: Fixed 4 years ago by major. Opened 4 years ago by ankursinha.

What do we think of using teams.fedoraproject.org to better plan our tasks? The tickets can still be here, but instead of using tags to mark progress, we can use the kanban board? It provides a better representation of the work that is currently being done.

The only downside perhaps is that it gets spread over two things then: pagure and taiga. If there was integration between the two, that would've been nice :)

I've created a dummy project for us to tinker with here. Feel free to login and ping me if permissions are required etc:

I always like trying new things, maybe not diving in, but more like dipping a foot in to see how the water is. I had an account somehow and started watching the project. I never got around to getting the hang of working with packages yet, but would like to get back into it.

What's your username on the thing, @dan1mal ? I can't seem to find you XD

My username is dan1mal. So, strangely, if I login in from this post, I am directed and am already logged in under my OpenID. I opened an account there 4 months ago. The URL if log out takes me to https://teams.fedoraproject.org/login?next=%252Fdiscover and from there I can click 'login' and it will bring me to the OpenID connect option.

However, if I goto https://tree.taiga.io/login there is no OpenID connect option and I have tried login in with my github and with my email, using the same ID and they both work. I deleted them now, but even will I have my OpenID account logged in as dan1mal with my email, I am still able to make an account on tree.taigo.io.

I sent a message there to you, hopefully you can use that to see me.

So, teams.fedoraproject.org is the Fedora specific instance, and one can only login there using the FAS based open ID.

tree.taiga.io is not the Fedora instance---that's just the free public taiga instance, like Github :)

I've sent you an invite on teams.fp.o now. Hopefully that'll work!

So I tried clicking the link, but it logged me in without adding me.
Nothing seemed to happen.  I email taiga support about it with the
details of the bug.

Waiting on a reply.

we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do. ~ Leonardo da Vinci

Adam on the -devel list explained it. One must use the e-mail address that we've used to register for our FAS, not the FAS alias. I've sent you an invite now, and it looks OK (it shows your user in settings now).

Taiga is a good interface, but would not be suitable for the rest (as discussed). We tried using it for fixing the FTBFS bugs, but it turned out to be another process (for me) and really not necessary since we can track the issue status on Bugzilla as well. If more people prefer using Taiga, then I guess we can give it a try again?
