Unfortunately, the jabref package in Fedora is not up to date because of several missing dependencies. Would it make sense for us to provide the pre-built jabref jar that upstream provides as a COPR (can it be in a COPR, or would this require us to use RPMFusion?)

Upstream provides rpms, and since we cannot currently build from source, there's no point in us re-bundling upstream's packages. Closing:
