SpiNNaker is a neuromorphic platform that is increasingly being used to simulate brain networks, especially with simple spike-timing-dependent-plasticity. If anyone is interested in neuromorphic platforms, these are worth looking into, and packaging for NeuroFedora!

Notes: pynn is the suggested interface that sits on top of the spinnaker software stack. It isn't compulsory to use pynn, so it's an optional dependency. We'll have to look into how the rest of the stack comes together to figure out what the order of our packaging should be.
This is more of a tracker ticket I guess. We'll open separate tickets for each spinnaker related software.
@blackfile: i spoke to a few people. This isnt going to be easy given that everyone does not have access to spinnaker. Look around a bit before you start :(
