#168 Package PyPNS: A Python Peripheral Nerve Simulator
Opened by mhough. Modified

GitHub URL: https://github.com/chlubba/PyPNS

PyPNS is a Python module for the simulation of periperal nerves. Axon models are simulated in the compartmental simulator NEURON over its Python interface.

Requires NEURON compiled as a Python module.

Will this require a different package install than the main NEURON package?

To run PyPNS properly, several NEURON extensions need to be compiled for the myelinated axon model. Those are located in the mods-directory of PyPNS.

At what point does installing NEURON extensions become the manual work on the user?
