This is a work-in-progress. I put in a few pull requests upstream to address issues that came up when deploying this bot.

For now, the #fedora-neuro bot uptime may be intermittent. Once v1.2.2 is released by upstream, we can follow up and ensure the bot is working without issues.

Feel free to assign this to me and I will update when it is complete.

@jflory7 could we please have fedmsg notifications enabled for the time being? It's mostly us devs hanging around there, so ticket notifications are useful. Once we have end-users there, we can disable them.

The bridge bot is running successfully for the past couple of days. I'm still waiting for some fixes to be merged in the upstream Teleirc project, but I think it's safe to close this ticket as complete. Feel free to ping me or reopen the ticket if there are issues. :clapper:

@jflory7 the bridge quit the IRC channel a few seconds after you left the telegram super group. That's weird, isn't it? I think this had happened the last time you'd left that group too. Does that give any hints on the issue, maybe?

Two issues were resolved:

1. Upstream released v1.2.2 today
2. I made a silly mistake in the deployment

With some certainty, I think this ticket is resolved and the bridges are stable. I think it's okay to close. :clapper: Feel free to re-open again if this is not the case.
