#61 Election Interview Questions — Mindshare (Dec 2018)
Closed: Complete 4 months ago Opened 4 months ago by bcotton.

In order to move forward with the next election, we need to determine which three mandatory questions the Mindshare would like to have asked.

The end result is that we need the Mindshare to please identify the three questions before November 14, 2018 so we can properly communicate them to candidates and so they enough time to answer them.

The link to your current questionnaire is here:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Elections/Questionnaire#Mindshare

In case the selection will not be done till November 14, then Election wrangler will use the same set of questions as the last election cycle (see Mindshare ticket 19).

I think:
* About their road within the project (Question 1): What is your background in Fedora? What have you worked on and what are you doing now?

  • It gives the candidate an opportunity to present himself better (Question 6)
Please elaborate on the personal "Why" which motivates you to be a candidate for mindshare.

  • About future work and actual perception of Mindshare (Question 5)
Is there a specific task or issue you think that Mindshare should address this term?

Maybe we need tag this for the next meeting

The linked questions are:

  1. What is your background in Fedora? What have you worked on and what are you doing now?
  2. What are three personal qualities that you feel would benefit Mindshare if you are elected?
  3. What is your strongest point as a candidate? What is your weakest point?
  4. What are your future plans? Is there anything you can consider a "Mission Statement" as a candidate?
  5. Is there a specific task or issue you think that Mindshare should address this term?
  6. Please elaborate on the personal "Why" which motivates you to be a candidate for Mindshare.
  7. What are your thoughts on the impact (as an individual and then as a Mindshare group) that the group will have?

I suggest the mandatory questions be: 1, 4, 6
