I would like us to give +o flag to puiterwijk in our 4 channels so puiterwijk can op himself and use /msg sigyn unkline (nick) if necessary, since he is online at times that many of the rest of us are not.

He doesn't need full chanserv flags, but at least +o would be enough. Although I'd be +1 to giving him regular op flags also.
