I noticed a few days ago that the magazine article images on the start page are not displayed properly. The article image is displayed too small in the correct location. It is also displayed again floating over the article snippet in the wrong aspect ratio. See attachment. I see this issue in Firefox 49 (with and without addons) and in Chrome 53.

It looks like the Fedora Magazine RSS feed is putting bad things in the description tags.

Yes this happened also a few days ago. We fixed it but after a successful build the website failed all builds. I digged into it yesterday, and did some changes on the magazine settings to make start.fp.o build again/
Unfortunately this implied to get back to the issue we had. Now I think it should be all fine, the feed is clean now (hopefully). You should see it building correctly in about 70-80 minutes from now.
The duplicate article images are gone from start.fp.o now. The images still look too small to me, but at least nothing is covering the article snippets anymore. Thanks!
The images have always been like this, but I made them bigger for large screens, keeping them smaller for medium and small screens. Hope this is better now.
