Closed: Invalid Opened by jflory7.

== Task Identification ==
The [https://fedoraproject.org/easyfix/ easyfix] page on fedoraproject.org contains a large number of broken or redirect URLs.

== Task Analysis ==
Broken links include the following:
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/ Home]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/features/ Features & Screenshots]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora Download]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/join-fedora Community]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/using/ Using Fedora]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/get-help Help]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki Contributors]
( [https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWN/LatestIssue Fedora Weekly News] - should be [https://fedoramagazine.org/ Fedora Magazine]
* [https://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora-options Full Download List]
* [https://www.redhat.com/rhel/fedora/ Learn more about the relationship between Red Hat and Fedora >]

== Implementation Recommendation ==
This page is still obviously using the old theme, dating before getfedora.org. A short-term fix might be correcting all the URLs, but in the longer term, it might be better to update this page to match the new theme across the getfedora.org page, or just maybe make its own site, e.g. easyfix.fedoraproject.org.

Most of the links you listed above are not broken, they are just outdated and don't exist in the new websites. Therefore it's correct to just redirect them to the home of getfedora.org, because fixing them is impossible.

That said, the easyfix page is nothing more than a script and actually has many other outdated informations. The only thing it really does well nowadays is collecting the easyfix tickets of all tracks. We will probably be able to handle these tickets more efficiently once we have Fedora Hubs, so personally instead of remaking a theme I'd rather work on something we will use in the near future. Making an easyfix.fp.o page at this point is not the solution we want for handling easy tasks in the single teams.

You're right – I originally was going to file this ticket just for the footer, and then forgot to change my wording when I added the other links. Most of them could just use a small refresh to a more specific place. The only actual broken link is the relationship between Red Hat and Fedora.

+1 for having this in Fedora Hubs. I think having this script integrated into Hubs makes more sense. With that said, I think this ticket can probably be closed as long as easyfix is marked for inclusion in Hubs down the road.

Cool, and thanks for the heads-up.
