The download counter number on spins.fpo is misleading and does not reflect the real download numbers (as far as I know it's based on torrent downloads, so it's declining a lot).
We are going to drop the right side list then. But letting the spins sorted by popularity. Even if it's not the real numbers, they reflect what people download.
I dropped the top-spins on the right sidebar on f19-alpha branch. Should be alive in spins.stg.fp.o soon, but IMHO we will have to find a different solution.
It's in prod. Let us know jreznik if we also have to hide it on the index (main table).
Thanks, I think it should be hidden in the main table too (better wording - everywhere).
From #fedora-kde today: [16:34] <Dudalus_> Hey. I switched today to the KDE spin of Fedora and can anybody tell my, how active is the development of this spin ? I am a bit confused because on the download page I saw just 336 downloads
It is not a problem to hide it also on the main page, but we have a note on the mainpage which says:
''"Note: Spin popularity is determined by number of torrent downloads since the most recent Fedora release."''
If we should hide them I would hide only the number of downloads, nothing else, maintaining the two tables, by popularity and alphabetical.
EDIT: # of downloads have been removed :)
