#174 alt.fedoraproject.org is set incorrectly in Weblate
Closed: Fixed 2 years ago by darknao. Opened 3 years ago by rffontenelle.

The component alt.fedoraproject.org has an alert saying:

This component is set up incorrectly.

The repository browser URL points to non-existing locations:

https://pagure.io/fedora-websites/blob/master/f/data/content/index.html#_8 (404 Client Error: NOT FOUND for url: https://pagure.io/fedora-websites/blob/master/f/data/content/index.html#_8)

This can happen if the path within the translation files contains references to a parent directory, or is absolute.

It seems the correct URL should be https://pagure.io/fedora-websites/blob/master/f/alt.fedoraproject.org/data/content/index.html (missing only the part /alt.fedoraproject.org/)

Hi @rffontenelle I would like to work on this issue but I don't figure out how to reproduce the error, can you guide and tell me more How to get that error please?

Thanks a lot!

@josseline I believe this is related to the repository URL settings (see Weblate's doc, and possibly involves any ".." (change to previous directory) in the source file location.

To see the error, you can go to https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/fedora-websites/altfedoraprojectorg/#alerts

Hi @josseline, are you still working on this?

all of this is resolved, only the warning remain, it is linked to the way I configured weblate to automatically detect pot/po files in https://pagure.io/fedora-web/translations

nothing I can do here, and almost no impact (translators car really easily find where the string are displayed in websites, even if the shortcut provided by weblate doesn't work)
