Closed: Invalid 3 years ago by nasirhm. Opened 3 years ago by nasirhm.

Hey Guys, As in a similar ticket, We discussed about having atleast 2 Classroom Sessions & As June's Starting soon, How about finalizing the Classroom Sessions we would like to Plan for the Month and then We can reach out the Sensei Accordingly.

Here are the Proposed Ideas to select from (We're open for New Ideas too) :
- ToolBox
- Buildah 101
- Systemd
- SELinux
- Vim 102
- zsh
- IRC 101
- Fedora Infra related
- Writing GNOME extensions

Let's select 2 from here to find Sensei's For.

I think we should find instructors before selecting an idea :-)
For instance I think that a classroom on Toolbox would be highly appreciated by a wide number of people (by silverblue and regular users as well).
I contacted the developer of toolbox the previous month (he expressed his interest in hosting a classroom last year), but I didn't receive any reply so far.

I agree.

It would be awesome to have classroom session on Toolbox, How about asking some Silverblue folks if they're interested in Taking a classroom ?

@alciregi I would like to propose a classroom around "how to write package test cases" which will cover basic of FedoraQA. Do you think it will be fitting into the schedule?

@sumantrom It would be awesome to have a Classroom on Packages testing QA. We would love to facilitate the Classroom. Basically it depends on the author about time and date.

I've opened this ticket to keep track of this classroom: https://pagure.io/fedora-join/Fedora-Join/issue/211

"Packages testing" and "how to write package test cases" are different topics.
The first is covered by a QA onboarding call. The latter is a bit more advanced topic, aimed at package maintainers. Right?

How about including one of the packaging workshop videos as a classroom video?

One will have to go through the videos to see if they're up to date and if they're OK for beginners.

I would like to take the IRC101 Classroom session.

Obligatory tagging so here goes my idea.
