How about we take a session on IRC 101?
what else?
+1. I think the above listed topics are enough for a 101 session. We can probably make this interactive and ask attendees to create their registered nicks at real-time. Also, I'd suggest keeping this an IRC only session and not introduce Matrix. We can probably have that in a later session. We can also maybe have a dedicated Matrix session where we can cover everything.
+1 I liked this idea. Also as Dhanesh said, we do not need to introduce matrix just yet. Let it be IRC only session as for now.

We need an instructor for this. Any volunteers? @dhanesh95 - would you take this up? It should be relatively simple without too much preparation?
I'm pushing this to the next milestone. We have enough sessions for F29.

@narasim @siddharthvipul1 : perhaps use this ticket to track the IRC session?
Please go ahead and close this. Also, Nasir opened another ticket for this. I think more than ticket for ideas, if we are planning to do this bi-weekly or monthly we need meetings to discuss and keep the wiki pages updated.
I misread your comment, never mind! and we can use this if it's more helpful.
It's really up to you. We had a process where different tickets would be opened for different tasks related to each classroom so that these could be assigned to different people:

The existing process sounds awesome, The reason I created the trac ticket for Monthly one is to get started with Classrooms and once we gain enough momentum, We can shift with the organized method :)

-1 because FWD maybe 24th if it suits you?
Oops, My Bad, (/me is marking FWD in his Calendar). 24 works for me :)
Fedora 33 is currently scheduled for release on 2020-10-27:

So, I doubt you'll manage to get magazine posts for the classroom etc. through---they'll be focused on the release. A few weeks after the release, when things have died down a bit would work best? The classroom will act as another way of engaging with users?
Hi @nasirhm, thanks for picking it up. Please list the topics you would cover through the sess.
(Also, try covering how folks can retain IRC messages even when they are disconnected if possible. That would certainly help me.)

Yes, beyond the release hype.
Closing as stale
