Hi. We'd like to get new python2 and python3 bugs assigned to python-maint@redhat.com.
python2
python3
python-maint@redhat.com
Bugzilla Assignee Overrides says:
To override the default assignee in Bugzilla ... specify the FAS username or FAS group...
AFAIK we have no FAS username or group for python-maint@redhat.com - what is the proper course of action? Create a dummy user or dummy group?
I'd suggest "python-maint" as the name. If that would be too confusing with "python-sig", maybe "python-maint-redhat". Note hath we don't want this group to have rights to actually be listed as package maintainer, also we don't need it to have actual members, we juts want to make it the default bugzilla assignee.
Thanks for help
If using an e-mail address works in those YAMLs, we don't need the extra user/group.

Short term: Can you just make a user account (You will need to have admin access to the list to catch the initial email from bugzilla for account creation). Then, use that fas account in the overrides.
Longer term: We are looking at moving the overrides to a pagure plugin, and adding the ability to just do addresses there. I have no idea when this will be implemented however.
Sound reasonable? Anything else we can do from here, or can you make the account and override and we can close this?
We can wait for long term, I'm following https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/7690
Thanks.

https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issue/7690 was closed but apparently I cannot add email address directly via the user interface.
Is it possible at all, or should we go with the FAS account?

@churchyard does the current state of things work for you? Or is there still something to do?
We'd like to get new pythonX.Y bugs assigned to python-maint@redhat.com. With the current state of things, how do we do that?
Looking at zodbot's output for maint, I think the easiest may be to simply have a python-maint account with the email you wish to use.
maint
(We appeared to have 16 of those -maint accounts)
-maint
OK, I'll discuss that possibility with the team.
