There's apparently no replacement for this yet. This breaks upgrades in GNOME Software, a number of things in Fedora QA, and possibly other stuff. I suggest we implement the hacky fix I suggested earlier:
Create a redirect from https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/api/collections/ to a static page which has hand-edited JSON with currently-correct values. Then, when PDC gains the capability to do it right, of course, use that instead.
I'm not sure where the best place to track this is... but it seems like here is not.
The plan as I know it currently is:
Just keep using pkgdb for now, we have it up and read-only (mostly), so we can tweak the f27 values and just use everything as we have been until now.
get PDC able to tell 'in development' for releases (right now it just has inactive and active).
Switch everything to use PDC.
