CommOps successfully migrated from Trac to Pagure last month, and wants to redirect Trac traffic to our Pagure repository.
Earlier this month, I was talking to @kevin and he mentioned it would be possible to "retire" a Trac by redirecting traffic on the fedorahosted.org domain to the Pagure repository for the team. I would like to request this for the CommOps Trac.
Before that is done, have past tickets been 'copied over' or otherwise archived? We don't want to lose our history.
@johnmh Yep! You can visit the Pagure repo for CommOps (linked above) and view the "Issues" tab to view them all.
@jflory7 There are a good number of tickets that aren't on the Pagure repo, see https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-commops/report/6 for those. Until we have satisfactorily archived those in either a static form or as issues on the Pagure repo, I don't think we should redirect the FedoraHosted Trac instance to the CommOps repo. Most of these are closed issues from previous releases, so I'd be a bit slow on the draw for this one.
@johnmh I could be wrong here, but are the tickets you're not seeing just because they're already marked as closed? All of the tickets listed in the Trac report link above, I can find the corresponding Pagure ticket for them, e.g. ticket 13 in Pagure.
Try replacing any of the tickets you're not finding into this URL:
https://pagure.io/fedora-commops/issue/xx
Are there are any specific ones you can point out? Unless I'm missing something, I thought we had successfully migrated them already.
@jflory7 Yes, that works. It seems that they weren't being shown in my primary browser due to a bug with my uBlock Origin lists. Sorry for the confusion.
Yep, no worries. :)
Done. Please let us know if you need anything further. :grinning:
