Wiki: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FWD_Brno_2017 Where: Red Hat Czech TPB-C When: 3rd October at 17:00 Capacity: 50 attendees Budget request: 100$ - catering
Are the FW stickers separate from the budget?
Yes, we will open a separated ticket for stickers. Please check the discussion here #36
@rhea What would the RH talk be about? Also, approx. how many of the estimated 50 attendees will be RH employees? I wouldn't prefer majority of audience being RH employees.

+1 for the budget. I don't see any issue if the audience is RH employees. They can be interns, non-permanent employees, employees from non-technical departments who wants to learn about Fedora. Why it is a concern?
All the best @rhea for the event.
No, the target audience is not Red Hat people. All the talks are aimed at either starting to write some code, contribute, learn, or get a job. I would like someone from recruiters to talk about work at Red Hat, just as there will be someone talking about Fedora, and someone from Czechitas talking about their organization which helps women study IT & code stuff... The audience is anyone interested in getting into IT or code, women, dogs or cats, or even snowflakes and unicorns. Dragons too, if they can fold their wings to fit through the door.
Registration will be on eventbride or whatever is taht thing called... First comes first served with hard limit at 50~ish. Marketing will be done using all the resources available - combined powers of redhatczech, fedoraczech, and Czechitas...
If there will be redhatters signing up, well, frankly, I don't know what the hell would they want to learn they don't already know, eh?
+1 :)

@chhavi can you make a banner for this? The location and date is available.
@rhea Fedora Diversity team will also be sending FWD stickers to you. Please send me an email at bee2502@fedoraproject.org with the address we can send the shipment to and number of stickers you need (based on the number of expected attendees). Please let me know by 8th September so that we can get the stickers to you in time.
Sorry for asking this again.

I have awarded the badge to all the FAS usernames, except kpoitticha. It gives me error 404 when I try to award the badge to kpoitticha.

Yep, I think that I'm unable to decipher the handwriting :D ...update - I don't think that they've got fas account, I checked with zodbot and their actual username (figured what it should be from their registered name) doesn't exist.
A little post about the event: http://rhea-ayase.eu/articles/2017-10/FWD-Brno
Since @rhea posted the event report link above, are we good to close this ticket now?
The noms are paid internally in RH and they already have bills too. Will post something when it's done...
thanks @rhea, feel free to open again the ticket if you need to add something else
