Are there any open source apps that encompass the knowledge of ethnic natives. For example the swedish natives the Sami have knowledge on keeping fire alive for many days, never seen an open source apps on such things.
If there are few apps of these kinds perhaps it can be a new area of developement?
Regards Richard

Thanks for opening this ticket, @rikardgn. I also haven't seen something like this before, although I am curious to know more about what you think the Fedora D.E.I. Team could do in this area. What connection do you see between this proposal and the Fedora Community or Fedora Linux?

This is an interesting idea, but I am not sure that it fits into the scope of what the DEI Team should do. This seems focused on users (which are important), but I think the team is more focused on contributors inside the Fedora community.
This is probably a bigger discussion. But let's continue it on gitlab.com:fedora/home#17 around a vision and mission statement for the DEI Team. Defining our vision and mission would make it easier to triage requests like this in the future and figure out how we can help more people using the skills, knowledge, and ideas we have in the team right now.
