FLISOL is the largest event in latam, being held in over 200 cities at the same time. It is on April 22 this year. Having diversity focused outreach will help onboard contributors from Hispanic and other communities in LATAM.
This ticket is related to #11 which covers events planning through out the year and FLISOL is one of the key events suggested there.

I have already contacted @tatica about this who will help us with connecting with organizers and possibly, diversity related outreach. @x3mboy is managing a Fedora booth during FLISOL in INACAP university in Santiago, Chile and has agreed to help us by having Fedora diversity related content at the booth.
If possible, we might be able to have a short Fedora Diversity video by FLISOL. @chhavi has agreed to help us with this. More info about this in #9 . This video will help in help in creating awareness about Fedora Diversity efforts, Fedora Women and highlight contributions of women in Fedora.
For locations where video facilities will not be available, I suggest working on creating a flyer which will highlight contributors from underrepresented communities in Fedora and also talk about different areas one can contribute to in Fedora and Fedora Women.
Would love feedback on this.
Instead of doing a flyer I would suggest having a talk/workshop (if it's still possible) to spread the word about the Fedora Diversity team, and how they can join the team, what to do etc. From my experience, people feel really motivated after attending a talk that shows successful case studies and help/guide them to do the same. If having a talk it's not possible, maybe they have space for a lightning talk?
Flyers needs more time to create them, budget and brainstorming. Since the event is really near we don't have time about it.
I like the idea of broadcast a video here. Thanks @bee2502 for a quick work here. This work can be reused next year as well. @bee2502 @jonatoni for talk also we would need budget and prior planning, or you have any person there in the event who can take it up quickly? But your points are valid and we may work on them next year when we will have enough time.
@jonatoni I dont think talks/workshops/lightning talks are possible. It's too late and schedule is fixed. However, we can ask ambassadors/fedora community with workshops/talks/booth to convey this information.
Re: flyer, I thought more on this. Everybody will have a laptop screen so they can screen video. If internet is an issue and streaming video is not possible, we will also provide them raw images from video which have contributors images, why they like contributing to fedora and details of their contribution. I think it should be a good replacement for flyer for now and also highlights examples of Fedora contributors like you said.
Preview link to video is here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qp-WcAS4VcY&feature=youtu.be Raw images are in the folder shared for diversity related media.

Is the goal of your talk to attract contributors to Fedora's diversity team? I am confused here. I thought the team wanted to increase the diversity of contributors overall.

Looking at this original checklist, I think we have accomplished the majority of these goals, and FLISoL has also ended now. Given that we also have the deliverable from #9 produced (the video), I'm going to close this ticket as complete.
Given the time constraint, this was a nice collaboration to pull this together at the last minute. Thanks for the time and effort to all involved here! :tada: :100: :tada:
