#204 @kde-* groups should distinguish mandatory/default/optional packages
Opened 6 years ago by kkofler. Modified 3 years ago

The distinction was removed years ago by an undiscussed global cleanup by Bill Nottingham. Most groups have since restored the distinction. The KDE groups still have only mandatory packages (which is the default if nothing is specified).

Of those packages now in the groups, only those packages really essential to the desktop functioning should be "mandatory", the rest should be "default". And any interesting KDE applications that are now not listed in @kde-apps should be listed as "optional" there so that Dnfdragora can show them under that category.

I'd assign this to @rdieter, but unfortunately I'm not allowed to assign issues here.

This is still an issue, even in comps-f33.xml.in.

(A handful packages in @kde-desktop are explicitly mandatory now, but most are unspecified, as are all packages in all the other @kde-* groups, except @kde-software-development, which is broken in its own way, see #205.)
