Hey @jflory7 , Thank you for creating a ticket here and assigning it to me (keeps me accountable :D).

I've written a Script which fetches:

• Issue Creators of Closed Tickets
• Issue Creators of Open Tickets marked as needs report

and prints out the data on the Command Line in a python list format, @bt0dotninja If you would like we can integrate it with geofp and that will make sure we can generate the stats without needing to manually crawl all the pagure issues or maybe we can add it in the scope of fedora-diversity (What do you think @jflory7 @bee2502 @jonatoni @orionstar25 ?)

Actually the map shows the organizers of FWD by country (people who open the pagure ticket) but not show the year or the co-organizers. Let me study the script and curate the data :) so this is a preliminary view of the final map :)

Yeah, for that it is suggested to fetch the recipients of the FWD badge, I'm thinking about interacting with Badges API (If we have one) or a fedmsg query.

Just a thought, please make sure that location data (even approximations) does not get mixed with Personally-Identifiable Information (names, emails, FAS usernames, etc.) in any public comments or reports.
