Hi @feisal, thanks for opening this issue. This change moves us further away from the upstream project, mxsasha/happinesspackets. We should stay as close as possible to the upstream code where possible. This change could be submitted upstream. See the upcoming contributor guidelines for more info.

For now, I think this issue is out of scope for the Summer Coding project. Check out some of the other good first issues.

Keeping these things in mind while working on a project is important. Especially if submitting a change upstream, please be considerate of these points. The upstream project is volunteer-staffed so any contributions we send should be considerate and respectful to their time.

You can work on this in your spare time if you like. It is out of scope for fedora-happiness-packets, so we will not focus on it. I am not a reviewer nor do I have any privileges on the upstream project. It is a different project. If upstream accepts your change, we can apply your changes to fedora-happiness-packets as well.
