My contributor story

When I was starting to work on my personal project of Librehunt, I realized I would have to have a database filled with Linux distros and their properties (because my project revolved around distros and easily letting anyone answer a few questions and get distros relevant to them). Being a Gnome fanboy, I went to Guadec where Felipe contacted me about his work maybe of being helpful to me. We started chatting, and at the time I was constantly contacting him about his libosinfo project. Truth was, I was not inclined to reading the documentation, and took his time for granted, repeatedly asking questions which could have been answered with a look at the documentation at the time. Still though, he was keeping his cool, and for that I appreciate him. Now, looking back, I have learnt to not take maintainer's time for granted and to go through the documentation first.
