As Ambassador you give a face and a name to Fedora. You are a person, friendly and approachable. Fedora is big and scary, but you are going to help make sure that one person finds their way through all the confusion into the place where they can contribute. You are the glue. You help connect different people in different parts of the Project, because you are always dealing with people whose interests are different.

Some other important Informations!
As Fedora Ambassadors we follow a conduct https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Ambassadors/Conduct please read it carefully
If there is no change in your Membership Status in TRAC for longer than 14 Days and we find no Deadline from your Mentor, we clean up the Membership Request.
Change your first name and last name to Latin letters in the FAS if you filled your name in Cyrillic, Chinese, or other than Latin.

If you blog about your work as Fedora Contributor, add your blog to Planet Fedora. http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Planet_HowTo and please read https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Planet#Appropriate_Material
If you were contributing to Fedora before you signed the CLA, remove yourself from the Unlicensed Group for OPL without options.

After we get a "thumbs up" from your mentor and you have completed above steps, we will sponsor and approve your membership to the Ambassador group in the Fedora Account System.

@haghighi sent me a mentoring request on Sunday evening; I assume I was too slow to respond – sorry for that. But @robyduck is also a very good choice :)
@robert same here, sunday :/ and I thought I was slow too... @haghighi if you requested mentorship even to other mentors, please inform them at least you already got accepted by a mentor. Normally, before writing to another mentor because the first one is not replying, you should wait 3-4 days.

"Also note that a mentor is under no obligation to accept you, you may have to try several mentors, before you find one who has the time and availability to mentor you."
It says I have to try several mentors!!! So I sent emails to several mentors! (unfortunately at the SAME TIME!) Right now I'm sending email to that other mentors and inform they about my mentoring acceptance.
Just FYI: @haghighi reached out to me as well, but I didn't respond promptly either.
In any case, I'm currently mentoring two more ambassador candidates - @robyduck you may carry on normally. :)
