Django in EPEL is currently antique (version 1.6).
The last version supporting python 2.7 is Django-1.11, which also happens to be an LTS version. Since the state of Django in EPEL is somewhat abandoned, I'm not expecting to break to many dependencies.

Security updates for both python2.7 and Django-1.11 will end 2020.
+1 here... but would it also be possible to build against python36 and have a python36 version in addition?
Without looking, that should be possible, imho.
Brought up in the meeting today and was approved. Thank you for following the process and thank you for your work.
