This is follow up of https://pagure.io/cloud-sig/issue/431
I was doing regular cleanup and I see in log of deleted AMIs:
checking AMIs in region: ap-northeast-1 Deregistering AMI ami-0f7318b4fb82fb382 Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.aarch64-41-Prerelease-20241005.0 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag Deregistering AMI ami-05d0faa646198f07e Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.aarch64-41-Prerelease-20241009.0 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag Deregistering AMI ami-0c52086e4119cfb24 Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.x86_64-ELN-20241005.0 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag Deregistering AMI ami-001ffa74010fe5293 Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.aarch64-40-20241006.0 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag Deregistering AMI ami-098f2765c8ef7779c Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.x86_64-ELN-20241008.1 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag Deregistering AMI ami-0de103248be544234 Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.aarch64-ELN-20241002.2 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag Deregistering AMI ami-0a333f555f6d2bd1b Fedora-Cloud-Base-AmazonEC2.aarch64-Rawhide-20241007.0 in region ap-northeast-1 as it does not have a 'FedoraGroup' tag
^ these are already deleted, so you cannot check them. But there is lot of AMIs that has Fedora-Cloud-Base in name and does not have FedoraGroup tag. Can you please fix it and assign FedoraGroup tag to these AMIs?
I don't personally have an AWS account so I don't know how to see what images aren't tagged.
There was a period (before #431) where images weren't tagged, but after about October 23rd of last year they should all be tagged. Is that not the case?
Hmm. I checked some image that was created today... and it has correct tag. So it was likely indeed AMIs before #431 Closing. Sorry for the noise.
