Hey Suprith, Congrats on getting your talk selected :)
-1 form my side Reasons: 1. The trend of sponsoring people from APAC budget is not something I find right. 2. There are a ton of things we should do to make Fedora presence big in APAC.. and I find old "FADs" still more relevant to be funded. 3. The talk doesn't seem to be Fedora related.
I think we can utilize the budget and use it in a better way. I am not a very old ambassador and might be wrong, but I don't think this is why we get APAC budget

@suprith4989 can you also quote the amount ?
@suprith4989 can you also quote the amount ? @sumantrom The amount I was looking for is 2500 USD. Since I already have 1000 USD approved from my team, I am looking for 1500 USD more. Ambassadors can think of supporting me with even partial of 1500 USD if not entire amount.

Hey @siddharthvipul1 Even I am in an agreement of utilizing the budget in a better way. In fact, I can use it for my next Fedora meetup in Pune, as we plan to keep the meetup going without irregularities. Since, I am overwhelmed with my talk selection for the first time in some foreign open source conference, so thought of asking if Fedora has something to offer. The session is not entirely about Fedora, as obviously I am in Software Testing and the session is on the same too. But in an open source conference, I think every Fedora contributor does mention his experiences of working for Fedora.
-1 from my end as no significant reasons was demonstrated which would benefit APAC.
Thank you all for the consideration in the first place. I have already withdrawn my submission from the conference due to lack of Budget. This ticket can now be closed.
