Harish

Please create a wiki page for the event and add it to the following link. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Events#FY12_Q1_.28March_2012_-_May_2012.29

Please read following link as well.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Reimbursements
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_organize_a_Fedora_event

When you want media please ask them by opening a ticket at the trac, harish may send you those but it needs some time to reach.
If you decide to produce them locally please open a ticket at the trac with details (what you are going to produce and how much will they cost). Once the budget is approved you can go for it.

Please add your event to bi-weekly agenda if you feel like discussing about it on the meeting.

Harish,

Although https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Sankarshan/Event_Questions is somewhat outdated (in the sense that I do not maintain this at all), I would probably request having something similar to this (and, https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Sankarshan/Questions) so as to assess an event. For example, I look at the event page at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Niteshnarayan/OpenTalks and I do not see any mention of the speakers or, what else is being planned besides a set of talks.

Please Check now I have mentioned the Speakers name on the wiki page now.

For 3 out of 4 talks you yourself are speaker and for GSOC which is quite unrelated to Fedora, you have Sourabh(http://in.linkedin.com/pub/saurabh-sood/26/4aa/698), student of MIT, Manipal.

To me, it seems more like your initiative to get your class introduced to and involved into open source development activities, which is certainly commendable and encouraged. But still looking at the current plans I don't think it qualifies as a Fedora event.

Hi pjp,

From the looks of it, there isn't a Fedora event in India for the next few months. The mugs therefore will not be used for a while. Could a few mugs at least be made available to him please? He could use them as rewards for people answering questions during the sessions may be: just one idea.

They're left overs from the FUDCon, so I see no harm in getting them used up? There are still a few days for the event. It wont take more than a day or two for the mugs to ship from Pune to Manipal.

Thanks,
Ankur
