Clean up a bunch of packages
    
    Some of these we probably don't want on a workstation, and some
    will be dragged in via dependencies.
    Dragging in via dependencies means that if an application changes
    its implementation and then uses a different dependency, we don't
    end up with various now-deprecated packages.
