#323 Determine how task git repo will show up in rpms repo
Closed: Invalid 6 years ago Opened 8 years ago by tflink.

This is as much a tracking ticket as anything - the actual work will probably end up in fedpkg once the details are figured out.

If the task repo isn't trivially accessible by packagers, it's less likely to be actually used. Determine (and document) how the task repo will show up for packagers working on the rpms repo

I've written up an initial document describing how tasks will be stored in dist-git. Once it's reviewed and confirmed, I think we can close this ticket

[[taskotron/New Distgit Task Storage Proposal]]

I'm not sure if this needs a separate ticket or not but I want to start getting a better list of which lifecycle events we're supporting for tasks stored in dist-git. The ones I know of are:

  • koji_build
  • git_change
  • source_upload

Does this match what other folks were thinking?

Dist-git style tasks are now supported by CI Pipeline, instead of Taskotron:
