In the meeting:
<tflink> at least, we could update the "reading results" docs to mention the taskotron logs
At the moment, people will probably get the resultsdb link: http://taskotron-dev.fedoraproject.org/resultsdb/results/164578 which points you to the main log, but doesn't point you to the buildbot job details page: http://taskotron-dev.fedoraproject.org/taskmaster//builders/x86_64/builds/31563/ which in turn can you point to the debug log.
At least mention that in the docs, so people debugging problems can find it easier, until we add proper navigation.
I didn't find any "reading results" section in docs.
@tflink, what did you mean by //the "reading results" doc//?
@lbrabec hrm, I thought that we at least had something that talked about using taskotron to get results.
Since we don't, I'd say that the ticket has changed to "create some documentation for finding taskotron result details". Since we still don't have much in the way of taskotron user docs, I think that a wiki page would work the best for now.
@kparal, can you think of a better way to do this?
After discussion on IRC, we agreed on something like this:
<kparal> let's do something simple for the moment. Let's create a new document under https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Taskotron/Tasks , e.g. "Reading task results". And then finding a simple way to link to it from the taskotron landing page (e.g. https://taskotron-dev.fedoraproject.org/)
I added heading "Reading task results" to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Taskotron/Tasks with brief description how to get to buildbot details from results log link. However, when execdb is out, update will be required (maybe with some info on taskotron landing page).
