The current fake_fedorainfra code will always return an http 500 error on any issue communicating with bodhi. This makes it more difficult to tell whether fake_fedorainfra has failed or if it's a problem with the bodhi command.
Change the bodhi interface code so that it passes on any errors as if it were actually communicating with bodhi
