This was proposed after someone mentioned the following debian bug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=786909
The software in question is reportedly downloading binary blobs that have no released source and not giving users the ability to opt-out.
It might be nice to have a check that roughly does: * install package X * launch at least one binary from X * do some trivial operation with that binary * verify that no unexpected network traffic was observed
