There are a lot of folks at the Matrix end and then there are those using IRC clients. :)
Teleirc does not handle matrix to IRC bridges. Teleirc handles telegram bridges.
In addition, the matrix bridges are unstable now and I've paused making more. Please be patient and our channels will be bridged eventually. For now, IRC is the primary communication method for Fedora. Matrix will become primary after we get our own Matrix homeserver.
