Hi @alick, this is probably an issue with the NickServ rules for the channel. I am looking into it now.

Hey @alick, I talked with a Freenode staff member. We need @spot to fix the channel permissions. There is only one account with NickServ access in #fedora-zh right now:

-ChanServ- 25 freenode-staff +AFRefiorstv [modified 6w 6d 2h ago]

A Freenode staff member, kline, explained to me we have to go through @spot for this request. I could help maintain the right rules for the channel, but I need someone with access to run this command:

/query ChanServ ACCESS #fedora-zh add jwf +AORfiorstv

Thank you @spot! :pray: That was fast. So, this is all taken care of. The Telegram bridge is back up and working. To summarize what happened here:

  1. @spot / Freenode staff gave me +ARfiorstv flags
  2. I fixed the TeleIRC bridge rule, so it will get automatically voiced by default (required to speak in channel)
    * *!*@*rit.edu +V
  3. I gave users connecting from Freenode-recognized gateways automatic voice
    * *!*@gateway/* +V
  4. Removed several old rules with random flags set 10+ years ago that might conflict with current channel flags / rules

Closing as complete. :clapper:

Thanks @spot and @jflory for the fix!
