  • The koji build nvr (name-version-release): usermode-1.98-1.2
  • A description of what you want to change: Add !NoShowIn=GNOME;KDE; to redhat-usermount.desktop.
    This removes the utility from GNOME menus: usermount is useless in a default installation
    (without additional configuration of /etc/fstab) and g-volume-manager should provide all
    necessary functionality anyway. No code changes.
  • Rationale for why the change is important enough to be allowed in after the final freeze:
    I'm not sure, honestly. This is just minor desktop polish - but seems worth the risk.
  • Impact of not accepting the development at this point of the schedule:
    Applications/System Tools/Disk Management stays in the menu.
  • Information on what testing you've already done on the development to help reduce the risk:
    Installed a local build package locally, verified the menu item was removed.
